Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Roma Alviverde's Serginho Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serafim Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fernao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fabiano Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalmo Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Duda Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Roma Alviverde's Hortêncio Guimarães broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lino Bertassi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Fernao FC's Dráusio Ramalho tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Serginho Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredinho Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredinho Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Glauco Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glauco Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Emerson Arce struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Agenor Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fernao FC. After 44 played minutes Roma Alviverde got a freekick which was hit by Lino Bertassi. When Fernao FC's Emerson Arce in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Roma Alviverde's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Nascimento in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glauco Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emerson Arce made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Fernao FC's Duda Porto got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Serginho Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Glauco Maia. The goal made the score 0-1. Emerson Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agenor Saraiva having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Emerson Arce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agenor Saraiva. Roma Alviverde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emerson Arce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Luiz Fabiano Leão hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Emerson Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agenor Saraiva having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês da Mata in the 80th minute of play forced Roma Alviverde's goalkeeper Agenor Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emerson Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Agenor Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredinho Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Maia having to interfere. Serginho Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glauco Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serginho Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredinho Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glauco Maia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Glauco Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
