Toriba AD's Bernardo Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Vieira in the 35th minute of play. Legaia FC's Breno Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Legaia FC from getting a goal against them. If Dráuzio Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Breno Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Toriba AD's Duarte Linhares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Cido Rosa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Legaia FC's Breno Guimarães. Breno Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Cido Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toriba AD's protests and gave Cido Rosa a yellow card for diving instead.
