Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With his leg Elias Mesquita managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Pascom's Paulão Vides fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 5th minute, Alex Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naldo Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Elias Mesquita made a huge save. Luisinho de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Sarmento in the 9th minute of the match. If Valdir Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the match, Direcao's goalkeeper Elias Mesquita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naldo Brito. Luisinho de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Sarmento in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Pascom getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Lino Vale hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Carvalho in the 22nd minute of play forced Pascom's goalkeeper Luisinho de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes of play, Direcao's Douglas Carvalho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisinho de Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fausto Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luisinho de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Ortiz's late challenge caught a Pascom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Direcao's Alex Ortiz got a free kick in the 36th minute. Paulão Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Mesquita having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Valdir Queiroz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pascom's Paulão Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulão Vides to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Naldo Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 53 minutes, Paulão Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pascom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Vides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulão Vides in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Mesquita saved Direcao from getting behind. Luisinho de Amorim was a little too slow when Allan Toledo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 2-2. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Allan Toledo took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Luisinho de Amorim to make any attempt to save it. In the 75th minute Valdir Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascom's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serginho Nunes in the 76th minute. Paulão Vides was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, Pascom's Lino Vale got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Pascom getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alfredão Félix hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Toledo in the 93rd minute of play forced Pascom's goalkeeper Luisinho de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Mesquita having to interfere. Direcao were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Pascom's much stronger midfield.
