Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Márcio Mangueira got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Dantas in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Ferreira saved Adelia from getting behind. Cláudio Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Pratigipe EC's Celso Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cláudio Soares came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Adelia's Antônio de Andrade. But to his dismay, Antônio de Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 31 minutes into the game, Adelia's Antônio de Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cláudio Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Celso Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pedro Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute William de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Pena in the 43rd minute of play forced Pratigipe EC's goalkeeper Cláudio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Mangueira in the 44th minute of play. Márcio Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Dantas made a kick off. In the 55th minute Celso Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natã Hames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Hames in the 60th minute of the match. Natã Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pedro Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, Pratigipe EC's Natã Hames made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Ferreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zé Paulo Sá's late challenge caught a Pratigipe EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Paulo Sá helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Adelia's Zé Paulo Sá got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Lenílson Vides sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Ferreira skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Natã Hames managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pratigipe EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Natã Hames was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cláudio Soares made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Antônio de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. William de Queirós came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cláudio Soares could save by the left post. With a little luck, Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares got control of the ball when William de Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Adelia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pratigipe EC.
