Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vito Travassos started the match with the kick off. Zeca Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Travassos in the 5th minute of play. Manoel Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheus Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Dantas in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nova Colina's Samuel Mendes got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Colina's zone, Vito Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Batista came out of the goal and Vito Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pedro Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Real Abacaxi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Moreira couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Real Abacaxi FC's Vito Travassos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeca Batista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Enrique Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Abacaxi FC's Vito Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrique Bueno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matheus Nogueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Bueno was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Vito Travassos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zeca Batista. Vito Travassos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Leandro Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeca Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Travassos in the 63rd minute of play. Gonçalo Custódio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Zeca Batista made a huge save. Zeca Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexsandro Cunha lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Nova Colina:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Abacaxi FC:s goal. Zeca Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Travassos in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Didi Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeca Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Cordeiro in the 98th minute of the match. With a little luck, Nova Colina's Zeca Batista got control of the ball when Pedro Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Real Abacaxi FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
