The tension between the Veredas AD and the Cambiasca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Veredas AD getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dinei Vianna hit a great ball. Glauco Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Egídio Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cambiasca FC's Egídio Duarte in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Veredas AD's goalie prevented a goal. Jarbas Tepedino succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Paulo Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Vito Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulão Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 49 minutes into the match, Veredas AD's goalkeeper Paulão Proença had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarbas Tepedino. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egídio Duarte to make the kick off. Jarbas Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Paulão Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambiasca FC. Egídio Duarte took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulão Proença. Paulão Proença dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 58 minutes into the match, Veredas AD's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Duarte came free, but Paulão Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jarbas Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Jarbas Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambiasca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarbas Tepedino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egídio Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egídio Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Proença having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Veredas AD's goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Tepedino came free, but Paulão Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Luís Gustavo Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cambiasca FC's Paulo Tavares got a free kick in the 80th minute. Paulão Proença came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cambiasca FC's Egídio Duarte. But to his dismay, Egídio Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Paulão Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarbas Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glauco Abraão during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Veredas AD's Glauco Abraão got a free kick in the 88th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Cambiasca FC's Fernandinho Leite tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jarbas Tepedino might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulão Proença. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cambiasca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarbas Tepedino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cambiasca FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
