Aloísio Botelho made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Erasmo Alves immediately put the ball in play. After having played for 17 minutes, Vítor Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minha Amigo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Pirara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caco Quadros to maneuver through the defense. Dênis Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Minha Amigo FC's Luiz Fábio Ferreira got control of the ball when Caco Quadros tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute Falcão Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Minha Amigo FC's Vítor Duarte in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirara's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Vítor Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Xavier was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half Minha Amigo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítor Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Minha Amigo FC's Júnior Netto got a free kick in the 54th minute. Vítor Duarte struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Duarte Xavier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minha Amigo FC. Amadeu Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Xavier having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Rafael da Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minha Amigo FC the free kick. Rafael da Silva hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Duarte in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Xavier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Pirara's zone, Vítor Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Xavier came out of the goal and Vítor Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeu Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Duarte in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Xavier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vítor Duarte came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Duarte Xavier could save by the left post. Minha Amigo FC played a much better game than Pirara and deserved their victory. The Pirara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
