Valdir Barreto, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Giuseppe Sá's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Sá in the 93rd minute of play forced Boiacu's goalkeeper Marcel Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-3 became the score in the 97th minute when Giuseppe Sá elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Boiacu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Carvalho Fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
