Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wilton Guimarães took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, XV de Piracicaba's Alfredo Bastos got a free kick in the 6th minute. Naldo Maciel in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edu Brasil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Ipu's zone, Manfredo de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto Sabóia came out of the goal and Manfredo de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudinei de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Edu Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Guimarães in the 14th minute of play. Manfredo de Toledo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Edu Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Guimarães in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, XV de Piracicaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Bastos to maneuver through the defense. Edu Brasil came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Ipu's Claudinei de Barros. But to his dismay, Claudinei de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Edu Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th match minute, XV de Piracicaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Leão to maneuver through the defense. Sabino Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. João Augusto Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XV de Piracicaba. When Claudinei de Barros was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. Claudinei de Barros hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 60th minute, Willian Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edu Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Bueno in the 63rd minute of the match. XV de Piracicaba's Lúcio Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 75 minutes, Naldo Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ipu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naldo Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lúcio Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Edu Brasil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo de Toledo. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Naldo Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipu's supporters rose to their feet, but Naldo Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edu Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, XV de Piracicaba's Arí Novaes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Ipu got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Varela. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ipu's goalkeeper João Augusto Sabóia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Willian Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edu Brasil having to interfere. After a rather tough play, XV de Piracicaba's Alfredo Bastos got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ipu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of XV de Piracicaba for a fine match.
