Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Novice Soccer's Mathias Zonta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Marcelinho Quaresma made a precise shot to the right of Oséas Duarte. Novice Soccer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jean Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Mathias Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Fausto Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelinho Quaresma took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oséas Duarte. Oséas Duarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Oséas Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Percy Gerber went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Mathias Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Penha made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Mathias Zonta sent off a good shot on target. After 36 minutes, Ronaldão Botelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novice Soccer and the Rosilha players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rosilha's Fausto Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Zonta in the 40th minute of play. Jânio Palmeira's late challenge caught a Novice Soccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jânio Palmeira helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Rosilha got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Palmeira. Oséas Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelinho Quaresma was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Rosilha defense, Mathias Zonta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Penha. The Rosilha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Penha should have stopped the shot. If Percy Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Zonta in the 60th minute of play. Natã Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Novice Soccer's Oséas Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Novice Soccer from getting a goal against them. Walmyr Brasil made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Novice Soccer's Ronaldão Botelho. Mathias Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Mathias Zonta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Penha was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Fausto Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathias Zonta's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. When Natã Valle came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Novice Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natã Valle couldn't finish the play. Fausto Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Zonta in the 82nd minute of play. Percy Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Mathias Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mathias Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Novice Soccer's goalkeeper Oséas Duarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Percy Gerber. In the 95th minute, Natã Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rosilha had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
