With a little luck, Ulbio's Willian Sena got control of the ball when Alex Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdir Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. César Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Abreu having to interfere. Willian Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arí Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Maurício Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alfredão Massa came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ulbio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredão Massa couldn't finish the play. Olívio Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the game, Ulbio's Olívio Carioca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurício Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olívio Carioca in the 73rd minute. The Ulbio fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Ulbio's Alfredão Massa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Valdir Trigo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maurício Abreu having to make a save. Waldemar Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 0-6 became the score in the 79th minute when Olívio Carioca elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Maurício Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão Massa in the 83rd minute of play. With his leg Maurício Abreu managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Ulbio's Alfredão Massa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olívio Carioca in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurício Abreu saved Jenesare EC from getting behind. Ulbio's Alfredão Massa got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. César Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Abreu having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when César Leal got free with Maurício Abreu in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 96 minutes into the match, Jenesare EC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão Massa came free, but Maurício Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulbio played a much better game than Jenesare EC and deserved their victory. The Jenesare EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
