Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Percival Medeiros made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Arí Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th match minute, Tiquarussu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Vander to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Tibúrcio Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Urbano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Valdo Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber de Lara in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Washington Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arí Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Urbano came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Galinha's Percival Medeiros. But to his dismay, Percival Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardinho Carioca during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Tiquarussu EC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Carioca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Medeiros in the 22nd minute of play forced Tiquarussu EC's goalkeeper Walmyr Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Kléber de Lara fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tiquarussu EC's attack was well implemented in the 24th minute, but when Washington Massa was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Arí Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walmyr Urbano came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galinha's Arí Toledo. But to his dismay, Arí Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Walmyr Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Celsinho Nascimento hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Tiquarussu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Toledo came free, but Walmyr Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Tiquarussu EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Galinha were winning 0-3.

Walmyr Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dário Abreu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Arí Toledos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Walmyr Urbano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arí Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Walmyr Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tiquarussu EC's Celsinho Nascimento got a free kick in the 61st minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Kléber de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiquarussu EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléber de Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walmyr Urbano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Percival Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Dário Abreu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdo Carvalho having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Tiquarussu EC's Celsinho Nascimento got a free kick in the 76th minute. Tibúrcio Cunha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Galinha's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Massa came free, but Valdo Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiquarussu EC's Walmyr Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Porto in the 90th minute of play. The Tiquarussu EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galinha's performance. The match ended with a win for Galinha.
