Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Davi Fonseca kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Davi Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Madresilva's Nilson Maciel pulled a muscle in his back after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 7 minutes, Carlos de Godoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Franca and the Madresilva players grew even worse after the yellow card. Madresilva's Valdomiro Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Fonseca in the 12th minute of play. Pedrinho Barral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adhemar Vergílio in the 18th minute. Adhemar Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Rosado having to interfere. If Jorge Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Davi Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Franca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davi Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Franca defense, Adhemar Vergílio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedrinho Barral. The Franca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrinho Barral should have stopped the shot. Pedrinho Barral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adhemar Vergílio in the 44th minute. Valdomiro Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Pedrinho Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adhemar Vergílio went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adhemar Vergílio made a kick off. Franca's Pedrinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Barral in the 56th minute of play. Benjamim Fernandez hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Pedrinho Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Barral hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Madresilva's Valdomiro Rosado got control of the ball when Jorge Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. A very good chance. When Adhemar Vergílio came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Madresilva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adhemar Vergílio couldn't finish the play. Jorge Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdomiro Rosado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. Davi Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Valdomiro Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Vergílio in the 91st minute of play forced Franca's goalkeeper Pedrinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Madresilva got a freekick which was hit by Lino Barral. In the 96th minute, Jorge Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
