Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. João Adolfo Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luiz Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Ibiratinga's João Adolfo Lira got control of the ball when Jorge Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Jorge Batista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. João Adolfo Lira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Davi Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Pedrinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Veiga in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Davi Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Franca's goalkeeper Pedrinho Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Donatello. Ibiratinga's Conrado Donatello got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedrinho Barral was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sílvio Luiz Veiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 63 minute of play. João Adolfo Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Franca getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dinei Mesquita hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Davi Fonseca notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ibiratinga's João Adolfo Lira. João Adolfo Lira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 76 played minutes Franca got a freekick which was hit by Carlos de Godoy. After having played for 85 minutes, Conrado Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibiratinga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Donatello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ibiratinga's Noel Pinho pulled a muscle in his back after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinei Mesquita during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Donatello got free with Pedrinho Barral in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franca's Pedrinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Veiga in the 93rd minute of play. Conrado Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Franca's goalkeeper Pedrinho Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Donatello. The Ibiratinga players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Franca from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
