Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Trocana's Douglas Vander started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Samuca de Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Madresilva's protests and gave Samuca de Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Madresilva got a freekick which was hit by Samuca de Andrade. After a defensive mix-up in Madresilva's zone, Douglas Vander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdomiro Rosado came out of the goal and Douglas Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute Lino Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Trocana got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Sarmento. When Samuca de Andrade was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 16 minutes had been played. The supporters of Trocana booed when Madresilva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Trocana's João Félix got control of the ball when Adhemar Vergílio tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Trocana getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Henrique Montenegro hit a great ball. Valdomiro Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Valdomiro Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Vieira in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 played minutes Madresilva got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Vergílio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flávio Vieira in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdomiro Rosado prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adhemar Vergílio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valdomiro Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Vander in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Madresilva's zone, Douglas Vander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdomiro Rosado came out of the goal and Douglas Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Madresilva's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Vander came free, but Valdomiro Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adhemar Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Félix having to interfere. Madresilva's Valdomiro Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Vander in the 77th minute of play. Valdomiro Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Douglas Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Vergílio in the 81st minute of the match. Adhemar Vergílio succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Laerte Sarmento hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Adhemar Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Félix having to interfere. Douglas Vander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valdomiro Rosado came out and tried to block the shot, but Douglas Vander slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Madresilva fans cheered their team off the field, for while Trocana had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
