Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Trancoso started the match with the kick off. Nelson Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano do Vale in the 4th minute of the match. After 7th play minutes Cristiano do Vale shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Nelson Galvão and just under the crossbar into goal. If Cristiano do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Trancoso took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edu Bertassi. Edu Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Edu Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Taruma's Nelson Galvão got control of the ball when Cristiano do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Fernando Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cariatuba FC! In the 37th minute, Fernando Linares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taruma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. When Fernando Linares came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Taruma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Linares couldn't finish the play. Edu Bertassi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Trancoso's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Moreno was the one to do the kick off. Nelson Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano do Vale's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, David Trancoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as David Trancoso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edu Bertassi. That made the score 1-5 in the 59 minute of play. Cristiano do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Nelson Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nelson Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Edu Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Trancoso in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Taruma getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Oscar Trancoso hit a great ball. Ernani Monteiro hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Fernando Linaress short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Edu Bertassi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristiano do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristiano do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Moreno scored 2-5 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson Galvão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Cariatuba FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Taruma's performance. The match ended with a win for Taruma.
