Tucunduva AD's Vito Sarmento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With 13 minutes on the clock, Ricardo Nunes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, Tucunduva AD's Maurinho Guedes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Juninho Vale. Juninho Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Guimarães in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Pecone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Messias to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Pecone's Diego Meireles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vito Sarmento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Tucunduva AD getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jeferson Fontes hit a great ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pecone's goalkeeper Juninho Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doriva Arósio got free with Juninho Vale in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Diego Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Doriva Arósio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juninho Vale. The goal made the score 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Eduardo Guimarães to make the kick off. With splendid footwork Diego Meireles arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-3 by the left pole in the game's 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Marcelinho Senna had to leave the field with a concussion. When Doriva Arósio fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tucunduva AD's protests and gave Doriva Arósio a yellow card for diving instead. Doriva Arósio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Pecone's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Eduardo Guimarães came free, but Juninho Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juninho Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Soares in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Pecone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Bastos to maneuver through the defense. Doriva Arósio scored 4-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juninho Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pecone's Diego Meireles got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Pecone fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Pecone's Diego Meireles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute Luís Gustavo Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juninho Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Soares went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. Juninho Vale came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Tucunduva AD's Doriva Arósio. But to his dismay, Doriva Arósio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Guimarães in the 97th minute of play forced Pecone's goalkeeper Juninho Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pecone's Juninho Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Arósio in the 99th minute of play. Tucunduva AD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
