Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fred Teles started the match with the kick off. If Paulão Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlindo Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Marquinhos Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FAVERO FC's Caco Coutinho got a free kick in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulão Aparecido in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marquinhos Schmidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arlindo Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute Arlindo Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Massa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marquinhos Schmidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to FAVERO FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. João Pires hit a great ball. Fred Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hernani Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If João Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulão Aparecido to make the kick off. Arlindo Massa scored 0-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marquinhos Schmidt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Arlindo Massa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 65 minutes into the match, FAVERO FC's Paulão Aparecido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marquinhos Schmidt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Caco Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hernani Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caco Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos Schmidt having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cristal's Fred Teles got a free kick in the 80th minute. Marquinhos Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When FAVERO FC's Paulão Aparecido in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
