Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Américo Hames got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Vicente Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Itaperarama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Miranda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Itaperarama's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Américo Hames might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Alvarenga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Américo Hames ran back to his position shaking his head. Itaperarama's Norberto Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Hames in the 17th minute of play. Norberto Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Montenegro in the 24th minute of play. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Américo Hames sped through Itaperarama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norberto Alvarenga. 34 minutes into the match, Itaperarama's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Montenegro came free, but Norberto Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 played minutes Itaperarama got a freekick which was hit by Luís Zilles. In the 36th minute, Itaperarama's Luís Zilles fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Christian Leite was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Nilson Severo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chimarrao AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaperarama the free kick. After 41 played minutes Chimarrao AD got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Severo. If Luís Zilles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Elias Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Vicente Miranda made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Itaperarama's Nilton Mandrak got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Américo Hames who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itaperarama's Norberto Alvarenga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Miranda in the 65th minute of play. If Vicente Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, Nilson Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Zilles struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Christian Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaperarama. Vicente Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Christian Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, Itaperarama's Luís Zilles made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Leite was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 89 played minutes Chimarrao AD got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Pires. Christian Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Miranda went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Itaperarama's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
