Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Márcio Castro kicked off to start the match. Alexandre Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Brito in the 9th minute of play. Oscar Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Valdir Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Betinho Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes, Itapoama SS's Pedro Cabral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valdir Figueiredo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Itapoama SS reached it. Itapoama SS's Oscar Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Figueiredo having to interfere. Valdir Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Oscar Maia sent off a good shot on target. Oscar Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Márcio Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Juan Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itapoama SS's protests and gave Juan Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Juan Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo de Brito in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Oquiniguia FC's zone, Oscar Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Figueiredo came out of the goal and Oscar Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Benjamin Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Benjamin Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oquiniguia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Brito to make the kick off. When Reinaldo de Brito came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Oquiniguia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo de Brito couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Brito in the 54th minute of play forced Itapoama SS's goalkeeper Alexandre Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Valdir Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Maia took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Figueiredo. Valdir Figueiredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 63rd minute, Márcio Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdir Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Arthur Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, Oquiniguia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho Leal to maneuver through the defense. Márcio Castro might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdir Figueiredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márcio Castro ran back to his position shaking his head. Márcio Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oscar Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdir Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Itapoama SS's Oscar Maia. But to his dismay, Oscar Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Valdir Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Márcio Castro's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Itapoama SS fully deserved thier win.
