Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aírton Meirelles kicked off to start the match. Aírton Meirelles struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Gilvan Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for fα¢¢ιηιѕ ƒ¢. Aírton Meirelles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilvan Botelho having to make a save. Eusébio Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gilvan Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Branco in the 15th minute of play forced Umarituba's goalkeeper Gilvan Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Aírton Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Botelho having to interfere. Tiago Gabriel da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes fα¢¢ιηιѕ ƒ¢ got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Branco. If Manolo Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Ferraz made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Manolo Mandrak sent off a good shot on target. Raimundo Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Oscar Ferraz made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Mandrak in the 38th minute of play forced fα¢¢ιηιѕ ƒ¢'s goalkeeper Oscar Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Ferraz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Guimarães in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Dudu Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Umarituba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fα¢¢ιηιѕ ƒ¢ the free kick. In the 47th minute, Manolo Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Manolo Mandrak made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Umarituba booed when fα¢¢ιηιѕ ƒ¢ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Ferraz having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Umarituba got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel da Fonseca. A hard shot by Romeu Moreira from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Gilvan Botelho's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Umarituba's Gilvan Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Meirelles in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Umarituba booed when fα¢¢ιηιѕ ƒ¢ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Raimundo Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilvan Botelho came out of the goal and Aírton Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusébio Branco got free with Gilvan Botelho in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, fα¢¢ιηιѕ ƒ¢ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Manolo Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Oscar Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
