Mamona AD's Vânderson Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Coelho in the 5th minute of play. Kléber Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Prado lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Ivolandia EC's Filipe Prado got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Mateus Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Ivolandia EC's goalkeeper Kléber Galvão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerônimo Pombal. Vânderson Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Ronaldinho Coelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vânderson Pinheiro was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Mamona AD's zone, Ronaldinho Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Pinheiro came out of the goal and Ronaldinho Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vânderson Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Coelho in the 27th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ronaldinho Coelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vânderson Pinheiro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Mamona AD's Durval Torres slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kléber Galvão. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. Vânderson Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Ronaldinho Coelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mamona AD's Vânderson Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kléber Galvão was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Jerônimo Pombal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jerônimo Pombal really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manoel Velloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldinho Coelho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vânderson Pinheiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronaldinho Coelho slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 54th minute. If Jeferson Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mamona AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldinho Coelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Deivid Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mamona AD's protests and gave Deivid Koehler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Deivid Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdomiro Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldinho Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Pedro Paranaense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléber Galvão. Ivolandia EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Paranaense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If Valdomiro Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldinho Coelho got free with Vânderson Pinheiro in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Mamona AD defense, Ronaldinho Coelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vânderson Pinheiro. The Mamona AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vânderson Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. After 92nd play minutes Ronaldinho Coelho shot 3-4, a short shot which went by Vânderson Pinheiro and just under the crossbar into goal. Jeferson Ferreira missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 97 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Vânderson Pinheiro right hand side.
