Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 13th minute, Fausto Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Freak Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Fausto Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Freak Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Cabral couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Fausto Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freak Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Maria Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Arrependido's zone, Adriano Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Tande came out of the goal and Adriano Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Adriano Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriano Furtado struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. José Maria Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Freak Team. Freak Team's Abelardo Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Cordeiro in the 26th minute of play. Abelardo Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Cordeiro in the 28th minute of the match. Freak Team's Abelardo Bittencourt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Freak Team from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Cordeiro in the 30th minute of play forced Freak Team's goalkeeper Abelardo Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes Freak Team got a freekick which was hit by Luís Santos. Jacinto de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Fausto Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freak Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Abelardo Bittencourt made a huge save. Fausto Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Maria Tande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Arrependido getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Benjamin Matos hit a great ball. After the first half Freak Team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fausto Cabral made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilton Rosado during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 53 minutes into the game, one of Arrependido:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fausto Cabral might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Maria Tande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Cabral ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jacinto de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisão Cordeiro in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Bittencourt saved Freak Team from getting behind. Abelardo Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Azevedo in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Marcos Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Cabral scored 0-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Maria Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fausto Cabrals short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got José Maria Tande to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 84th minute, Jacinto de Andrade made a precise shot to the right of José Maria Tande. Arrependido's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. If Jacinto de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Freak Team played a much better game than Arrependido and deserved their victory. The Arrependido players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
