Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Marcos Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Arrependido fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Azevedo couldn't finish the play. José Maria Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Azevedo took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mané Paulista. Mané Paulista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Marcos Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Paulista having to interfere. Giuseppe Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Tande having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Rodrigues in the 19th minute of play forced Arrependido's goalkeeper José Maria Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giuseppe Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Giuseppe Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Maria Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 30 minutes into the game, Raí Rodrigues recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Maria Tande. Raí Rodrigues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After 34 minutes of play, Arrependido's Marcos Azevedo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mané Paulista was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Raí Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Samambaia EC's zone, Marcos Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Paulista came out of the goal and Marcos Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raí Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. Luisão Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mané Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Giuseppe Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Maria Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Samambaia EC's Mané Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Cordeiro in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Samambaia EC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. João Augusto Barros hit a great ball. In the 67th match minute, Arrependido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. José Maria Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Giuseppe Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Maria Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Marcos Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Augusto Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. José Maria Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Maria Tande came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Samambaia EC's Raí Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Raí Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Raí Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giuseppe Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arrependido players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Samambaia EC.
