Agnaldo Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Brodel in the 6th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Raimundo Vaz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Zé Augusto Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Agnaldo Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agnaldo Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Augusto Silveira got free with Agnaldo Recife in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agnaldo Recife made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Zé Augusto Silveira sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Agnaldo Recife successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Zé Augusto Silveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Agnaldo Recife. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play.

The wind increased when Casper Derno made the kick off in the second half. Agnaldo Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Augusto Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, BONDI F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Vaz came free, but Agnaldo Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laerte Ribeiro scored 3-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agnaldo Recife, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, BONDI F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Téo de Andrade came free, but Agnaldo Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Derno kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the BONDI F.C. defense, Laerte Ribeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agnaldo Recife. The BONDI F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agnaldo Recife should have stopped the shot. Pedro Augusto de Amaral hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes, Recife Pe's Valdomiro de Amaral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Agnaldo Recife came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Recife Pe reached it. In the 90th minute Laerte Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilson Neiva hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Recife Pe were awarded a corner. Valdomiro de Amaral went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Válter Brodel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Laerte Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Recife Pe had played much better football throughout.
