Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gernando Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Oliveira in the 6th minute of the match. Luís Paulo Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Matos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Pedrinho Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. CARDAN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gernando Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Paulo Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 minutes, Ezequiel Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CARDAN FC and the Onha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Ezequiel Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Márcio Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Gustavo Prado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CARDAN FC's Márcio Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Gustavo Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raúl Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Márcio Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Raúl Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gustavo Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Raúl Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Gustavo Prado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 62 minutes into the match, Onha's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Paulo Oliveira came free, but Gernando Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Prado's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the game, one of CARDAN FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. CARDAN FC's Márcio Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save CARDAN FC from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, CARDAN FC's goalkeeper Márcio Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raúl Perez. In the 75th minute Gustavo Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Onha's Raúl Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gustavo Prado came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Onha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Prado couldn't finish the play. Onha played a much better game than CARDAN FC and deserved their victory. The CARDAN FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
