After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Lucas Waaddegaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Waaddegaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celsinho de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celsinho de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Waaddegaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Lucas Waaddegaard took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celsinho de Souza. Celsinho de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Mike Forsell made a precise shot to the right of Celsinho de Souza. Mozarlandia SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Mozarlandia SC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Celso Tinoco hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Lucas Waaddegaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Waaddegaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgílio Donato received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sílvio Mandrak came out and tried to block the shot, but Virgílio Donato slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 36th minute. In the 40th match minute, Real Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Quirino to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Sidney Porto in the 41st minute really tested Sílvio Mandrak's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Mozarlandia SC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Arthur Freire hit a great ball. If Mike Forsell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Real Madrid were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 59th match minute, Real Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Qvalfeldt to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lembitu Viik got free with Celsinho de Souza in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lembitu Viik came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Real Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lembitu Viik couldn't finish the play. Celsinho de Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lembitu Viik in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Mozarlandia SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lembitu Viik fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
