Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tigres do Rio FC's Benedito Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Breckenfeld in the 6th minute of play. If José Vítor Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Genílson Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Rafinha Trancoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Tigres do Rio FC's Remo Meira got a free kick in the 16th minute. Samuel Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Guedes having to interfere. Benedito Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Arce in the 25th minute of play. Gamaleira's Paulinho Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Paraense in the 26th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Samuel Paraense got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 31 minutes of play, Tigres do Rio FC's Delfim Leite made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulinho Guedes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tigres do Rio FC's Delfim Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedito Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Mello in the 38th minute of the match. Benedito Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Breckenfeld in the 42nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Genílson Arce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedito Berger was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the game, Genílson Arce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Benedito Berger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Genílson Arce was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amauri Cerezo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tigres do Rio FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Amauri Cerezo hit a great ball. Paulinho Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Paraense in the 60th minute of play. The Tigres do Rio FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Tigres do Rio FC's Delfim Leite looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. José Vítor Breckenfeld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Benedito Berger made a huge save. In the 68th match minute, Gamaleira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Mello to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Samuel Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulinho Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafinha Trancoso charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafinha Trancoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tigres do Rio FC booed when Gamaleira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfim Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Guedes having to interfere. Paulinho Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tigres do Rio FC's Samuel Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delfim Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 97 minutes, Samuel Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigres do Rio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gamaleira players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tigres do Rio FC.
