Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nando Dionísio made the kick off and thus started the match. Samuel Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Samuel Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Esteves's late challenge caught a Tigres do Rio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Cipriano Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Curva SS's zone, Delfim Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adhemar Figueiredo came out of the goal and Delfim Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tigres do Rio FC's Samuel Paraense in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curva SS's goalie prevented a goal. Maurinho Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Adhemar Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Remo Meira came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Tigres do Rio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remo Meira couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Tigres do Rio FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Remo Meira hit a great ball. After 33 played minutes Curva SS got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Machado. 34 minutes into the match, Tigres do Rio FC's Aloísio Damião broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Tigres do Rio FC's Delfim Leite in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curva SS's goalie prevented a goal. Delfim Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Figueiredo having to interfere. Adhemar Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Sílvio Luiz Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Benedito Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cido Cavalcante during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tigres do Rio FC's Cido Cavalcante got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tigres do Rio FC's zone, Nando Dionísio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedito Berger came out of the goal and Nando Dionísio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Paraense to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Dionísio in the 57th minute of play forced Tigres do Rio FC's goalkeeper Benedito Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Delfim Leite dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adhemar Figueiredo, 0-1. Adhemar Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Curva SS's Cipriano Esteves got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Tigres do Rio FC got a corner. Curva SS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aloísio Damião ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Tigres do Rio FC's Remo Meira got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Maurinho Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Paraense was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 93 minutes into the match, Curva SS's Sílvio Luiz Novaes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedito Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tigres do Rio FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
