Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Miguel Messias took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ronaldo Catarinense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Jefferson Mendes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 4th match minute, Estreito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Quadros to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Ronaldo Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Elias Ribeiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jefferson Mendes, 1-0. Elias Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute of the match Grupiara got a corner. Estreito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aloísio Mello ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Grupiara's Isaltino Valadares to fire away a dangerous shot which Jefferson Mendes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcus Quadros's late challenge caught a Grupiara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Quadros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Estreito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Quadros to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson Mendes made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ronaldo Catarinense sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Estreito's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Ribeiro came free, but Jefferson Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Mendes having to interfere. Jefferson Mendes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ulysses Cordeiro. In the 36th minute, Henrique Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jefferson Mendes made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ronaldo Catarinense sent off a good shot on target. Ronaldo Catarinense in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jefferson Mendes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The wind increased when Elias Ribeiro made the kick off in the second half. Raimundo de Salles hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Jefferson Mendes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aloísio Mello went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Jefferson Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Ribeiro in the 56th minute of play. Jefferson Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Estreito's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Catarinense came free, but Jefferson Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Estreito's zone, Elias Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Mendes came out of the goal and Elias Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jefferson Mendes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldo Catarinense went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Elias Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jefferson Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grupiara. Estreito's Lenílson Marinho got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
