In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Awakening's goalkeeper Dedê Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Diogo da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dedê Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Cleiton Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Awakening's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleiton Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dedê Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleiton Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim de Almeida having to interfere. Eduardo Ramalho hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Cleiton Miranda took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquim de Almeida. Joaquim de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Oliveira in the 31st minute of play. After 33 played minutes Awakening got a freekick which was hit by Dida Godoi. Nildo Vander lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Posangue SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Awakening a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dida Godoi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Posangue SS's Joaquim de Almeida. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Gilvan Oliveira made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Gilvan Oliveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquim de Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 59 minutes into the match, Cleiton Miranda notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Posangue SS's Joaquim de Almeida. Joaquim de Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 63 minutes of play, Posangue SS's Diogo da Silva made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dedê Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cleiton Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilvan Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim de Almeida having to interfere. Diogo da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Diogo da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Posangue SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo da Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedê Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Sílvio Luís Teixeira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 89 minutes into the match, Awakening's goalkeeper Dedê Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diogo da Silva. Léo Pernambucano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Joaquim de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Oliveira in the 94th minute of the match. Gilvan Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim de Almeida having to interfere. Awakening's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
