After some careless play in the Tibiri defense, Benedito Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Cruz. The Tibiri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Cruz should have stopped the shot. In the 15th match minute, MAGAAL ESEN SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Jonas Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Rosa in the 20th minute of play. Renan Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Adhemar Catarinense's late challenge caught a MAGAAL ESEN SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silas Saldanha made a kick off. Aleandro Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Campidelis in the 54th minute of play. Tibiri's Jonas Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Tibiri from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedito Rosa got free with Jonas Cruz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmet Nadir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonas Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Oséias Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Tibiri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséias Campidelis couldn't finish the play. Aleandro Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Saldanha in the 98th minute of the match. The Tibiri fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MAGAAL ESEN SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
