With a little luck, Cacimbinhas AD's Luiz Paulo Veloso got control of the ball when Álvaro França tried to sneak it across the goal line. MAGAAL ESEN SC's Aleandro Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Cavalcante in the 19th minute of play. If Benedito Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aleandro Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egídio Cavalcante's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Álvaro França had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Paulo Veloso. Cacimbinhas AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Álvaro França was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 34 minutes into the game, Álvaro França cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Luiz Paulo Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Benedito Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Cacimbinhas AD's Luiz Paulo Veloso got control of the ball when Renan Coutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedito Rosa to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ahmet Nadir managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAGAAL ESEN SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Nadir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Paulo Veloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Carvalho in the 53rd minute of play forced Cacimbinhas AD's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 minutes of play, MAGAAL ESEN SC's Ahmet Nadir made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Paulo Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, Benedito Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Cacimbinhas AD's Miguel Ribeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. In the 70th minute Miguel Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleandro Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Enrico Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes, Donato Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cacimbinhas AD and the MAGAAL ESEN SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. MAGAAL ESEN SC fully deserved thier win.
