In the 33rd minute Geovani Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Correia to strike the kick off in the second half. Erik Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Fernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Duda de Moraes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 53rd minute, Erik Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fábio Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Correia in the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cibauma EC's zone, Erik Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Fernandez came out of the goal and Erik Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Aliens's goalkeeper Duda de Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Motta. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Dida Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. But to his dismay, Francisco Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Erik Correia sped through Cibauma EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fábio Fernandez. After having played for 90 minutes, Francisco Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aliens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Correia might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fábio Fernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Correia ran back to his position shaking his head. If José Carlos Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Aliens players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
