Quixada AD's Fausto de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Gonçalo Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quixada AD. C.R. VasMorais's Gonçalo Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto de Azevedo in the 44th minute of play. The C.R. VasMorais players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quixada AD were winning 0-1.

In the 53rd minute C.R. VasMorais were awarded a corner. Ediberto Vergílio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led C.R. VasMorais's Ediberto Vergílio to fire away a dangerous shot which Davi Silveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Davi Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Macedo in the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto de Azevedo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo Amaral saved C.R. VasMorais from getting behind. Quixada AD's Davi Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Macedo in the 62nd minute of play. If Oswaldo Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomé Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
