After 5 played minutes Itamoji got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Fonseca. A collision led to Ladeira SS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Silvério da Silveira hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Júlio Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ladeira SS getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Caetano Loyola hit a great ball. Cássio Amorim struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Bruninho Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itamoji. Ladeira SS's Erik Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Itamoji booed when Ladeira SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Ladeira SS's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis de Amorim came free, but Bruninho Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Itamoji's Dênis de Amorim in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ladeira SS's goalie prevented a goal. Emanuel Săvescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bruninho Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruninho Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Săvescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Bebeto Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itamoji's supporters rose to their feet, but Bebeto Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruninho Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damiano Scudieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugon Dula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Dênis de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Afonso Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Itamoji fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Fonseca couldn't finish the play. In the 69thth minute of the game Afonso Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ladeira SS's Bruninho Martins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st match minute, Ladeira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Beto Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Itamoji getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Afonso Fonseca hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Afonso Fonseca put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Bruninho Martins. Beto Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Săvescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruninho Martins having to make a save. Emanuel Săvescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bruninho Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Bruninho Martins made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Itamoji's zone, Júlio Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugon Dula came out of the goal and Júlio Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st match minute, Itamoji was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Jerônimo Valladares thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Hugon Dula, a very annoying self made goal in the 93rd minute which led to 1-3. When the match was over Itamoji could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ladeira SS throughout the match.
