Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luizão Massa started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Silves's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Novaes came free, but Angelo Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Camargo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Bruninho Martins made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldinho Trigo during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Caetano Urbano, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luizão Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Martins having to interfere. Eusébio Camargo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Bruninho Martins skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Silves's zone, Beto Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Furlan came out of the goal and Beto Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Lago in the 20th minute of play. Bruninho Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Massa in the 24th minute of the match. When Júlio Coutinho fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ladeira SS's protests and gave Júlio Coutinho a yellow card for diving instead. Júlio Coutinho hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Massa in the 27th minute of play forced Ladeira SS's goalkeeper Bruninho Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Martins having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Ladeira SS got a freekick which was hit by Erik Santana. When Silves's Luizão Massa in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ladeira SS's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Massa in the 33rd minute of play forced Ladeira SS's goalkeeper Bruninho Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Ronaldão Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Ladeira SS's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Massa came free, but Bruninho Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Silves's Luizão Massa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of Ladeira SS booed when Silves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Lago in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beto Novaes to strike the kick off in the second half. Caetano Loyola hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Duarte Xavier in the 53rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Bruninho Martins's left hand side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Silves fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in Ladeira SS's zone, Eusébio Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruninho Martins came out of the goal and Eusébio Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beto Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Angelo Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Eusébio Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silves's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruninho Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladeira SS's Bruninho Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Massa in the 79th minute of play. Silves's Luizão Massa got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Beto Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Silves's Angelo Furlan got control of the ball when Ronaldão Lago tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ladeira SS's goalkeeper Bruninho Martins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Luizão Massa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruninho Martins was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. 97 minutes into the match, Eusébio Camargo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ladeira SS's Bruninho Martins. Bruninho Martins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silves's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
