Zé Paulo Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Silas Porto made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Vítor Pena in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafa Silveira saved Guigos from getting behind. 7 minutes into the game, Canutama's Carlos Fernando Secco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafa Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Zé Paulo Gerber came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silas Porto could save by the left post. In the 15th minute, Canutama's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zé Paulo Gerber fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 21st minute José Vítor Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Canutama booed when Guigos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Fernando Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Silveira having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Fernando Secco in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafa Silveira saved Guigos from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Guigos's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Secco came free, but Rafa Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Vítor Pena to make the kick off. Vito Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vito Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Vito Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Guigos's goalkeeper Rafa Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Fernando Secco. Zé Paulo Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Porto having to interfere. Zé Paulo Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Canutama's zone, Vito Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silas Porto came out of the goal and Vito Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Canutama booed when Guigos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fellipe Figueiredo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafa Silveira. Guigos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Canutama booed when Guigos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vito Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Canutama walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
