Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rui Marinho got the match started through his kick off. Cléberson Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Tostão Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Cléberson Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovânio Paraibano made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Faustão Furtado sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustão Furtado got free with Geovânio Paraibano in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geovânio Paraibano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustão Furtado in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Marinho in the 27th minute of play forced Funilandia AD's goalkeeper Geovânio Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cléberson Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrício Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tostão Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Funilandia AD booed when Trocana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Funilandia AD's Cléberson Ceresso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tostão Passos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute Fabrício Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tostão Passos came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Funilandia AD's Fabrício Loureiro. But to his dismay, Fabrício Loureiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 48 minutes into the match, Trocana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Loureiro came free, but Tostão Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabrício Loureiro to make the kick off. Cléberson Ceresso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tostão Passos came out and tried to block the shot, but Cléberson Ceresso slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 52nd minute. Cléberson Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovânio Paraibano came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Trocana FC's Faustão Furtado. But to his dismay, Faustão Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After having played for 67 minutes, Cléberson Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Funilandia AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cléberson Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Funilandia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. Fabrício Loureiro struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Tostão Passos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Funilandia AD. Fabrício Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Passos having to interfere. Jacinto Eger's late challenge caught a Funilandia AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Eger helped the player get up and apologised. Tostão Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Loureiro in the 78th minute of the match. Rui Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fabrício Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovânio Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Tostão Passos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tostão Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Loureiro in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Funilandia AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
