Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Pedro Sabóia kicked off to start the match. When Zé Paulo de Medeiros fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ituguacu SC's protests and gave Zé Paulo de Medeiros a yellow card for diving instead. Zé Paulo de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Ramalho's Betão Carioca got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Perivaldo Gaúcho fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ramalho's protests and gave Perivaldo Gaúcho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ituguacu SC booed when Ramalho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorginho Costa during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ramalho getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jorginho Costa hit a great ball. Betão Carioca took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Matorin. Edvaldo Matorin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Betão Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Matorin having to interfere. If José Pedro Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Ramalho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Quadros to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th match minute, Ramalho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. João Augusto Paraibano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Ituguacu SC's Dalmo Messias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Augusto Paraibano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Perivaldo Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Eugênio Paranaense sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ramalho's João Augusto Paraibano didn't even have to move. Geovânio Lima hit a great ball. If Danilo Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmo Messias made a kick off. Ituguacu SC's Dalmo Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, José Pedro Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramalho's supporters rose to their feet, but José Pedro Sabóia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvaldo Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betão Carioca got free with Edvaldo Matorin in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ituguacu SC's Edvaldo Matorin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Ituguacu SC from getting a goal against them. Betão Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Edvaldo Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Augusto Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Ramalho got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Costa. After having played for 84 minutes, Dalmo Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ituguacu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmo Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Amaral in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Augusto Paraibano saved Ramalho from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramalho's José Pedro Sabóia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edvaldo Matorin. That made the score 1-2 after 87 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Ramalho left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ituguacu SC.
