Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Saracuru SC's João Vítor Lucas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, Saracuru SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Quirino to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão de Amaral came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amadeu Magalhães could save by the left post. After having played for 15 minutes, Yan Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gurijuba SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yan Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Urbano in the 18th minute of play forced Saracuru SC's goalkeeper Nuno Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ramón Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Botelho was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Nuno Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Martins in the 23rd minute of the match. Sydney Macedo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Evandro Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saracuru SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gurijuba SS the free kick. After 31 played minutes Saracuru SC got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Machado. With his leg Amadeu Magalhães managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Saracuru SC's Cristóvão de Amaral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Saracuru SC's João Vítor Lucas in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gurijuba SS's goalie prevented a goal. Cristóvão de Amaral struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Amadeu Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saracuru SC. João Vítor Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Magalhães having to interfere. Amadeu Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Cristóvão de Amaral sent off a good shot on target. João Vítor Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Cristóvão de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Amadeu Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gurijuba SS's goalkeeper Amadeu Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amadeu Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão de Amaral in the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Gurijuba SS booed when Saracuru SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Gurijuba SS's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Lucas came free, but Amadeu Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match Michel Quirino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeu Magalhães showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If João Vítor Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Yan Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gurijuba SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Yan Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Vítor Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Magalhães having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gurijuba SS's Humberto Mandrak got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute João Vítor Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79thth minute of the game Cristóvão de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gurijuba SS's Amadeu Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saracuru SC's Cristóvão de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 minutes of play, Saracuru SC's João Vítor Lucas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amadeu Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão de Amaral's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Saracuru SC's goalkeeper Nuno Botelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yan Urbano. After a defensive mix-up in Gurijuba SS's zone, Cristóvão de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Magalhães came out of the goal and Cristóvão de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristóvão de Amaral in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saracuru SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
