Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tibúrcio Passos started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Vicentino's Dihnekis Stamatelos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dida Dante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dihnekis Stamatelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dida Dante came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Vicentino's Dihnekis Stamatelos. But to his dismay, Dihnekis Stamatelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luís Fábio Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Dante having to interfere. Alfredão Esteves made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Frank Pirani sent off a good shot on target. Tibúrcio Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Alfredão Esteves made a huge save. Frank Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alfredão Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Clube Atlético Vicentino's Alfredão Esteves got control of the ball when Frank Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Turvo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Mota came free, but Dida Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Pirani who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Alfredão Esteves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Clube Atlético Vicentino's Alfredão Esteves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atlético Vicentino from getting a goal against them. Dihnekis Stamatelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dida Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Clube Atlético Vicentino were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dihnekis Stamatelos was the one to do the kick off. Clube Atlético Vicentino's Luís Fábio Pereira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Humberto Aguiar, made in the 52nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibúrcio Passos in the 61st minute of play forced Clube Atlético Vicentino's goalkeeper Alfredão Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanos Gaitanopoulos hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Váldson Pontes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Dadá Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turvo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dadá Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredão Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dida Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dihnekis Stamatelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Alfredão Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Pirani in the 91st minute of play. When the match was over Clube Atlético Vicentino could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Turvo FC throughout the match.
