An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Jacinto in the 9th minute of play forced Magneto Clube's goalkeeper Cláudio Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Garrafao's Conrado Jacinto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mateus Jacinto was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Magneto Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cláudio Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Gabriel Mesquita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Vieira in the 26th minute. If Mateus Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Gabriel Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jairo Vieira sent off a good shot on target. Cláudio Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Breckenfeld in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateus Jacinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Garrafao's goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Mesquita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cláudio Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Jacinto in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Mateus Jacinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Gabriel Mesquita. Garrafao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateus Jacinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 61 played minutes Garrafao got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Breckenfeld. A hard shot 67 in the game by José Paulo de Azevedo from a close distance when the talented Cláudio Andrade managed to make a qualified save. Magneto Clube's players were relieved. After 68 played minutes Magneto Clube got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Pinheiro. If Conrado Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Paulo de Azevedo's late challenge caught a Magneto Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo de Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Garrafao's José Paulo de Azevedo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Garrafao's Tiago Gabriel Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Jacinto in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Garrafao getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Leonardo Breckenfeld hit a great ball. If Jairo Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Jairo Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
