Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gilson Ferraz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Tradicão Do Morro's Dieguinho Pombal got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Jaime Souza came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Colheres's Jeferson Secco. But to his dismay, Jeferson Secco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Valério Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Souza having to interfere. In the 13th minute Gilson Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeferson Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Souza having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato Messias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tradicão Do Morro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colheres the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Tradicão Do Morro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato Messias to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Paulo Renato Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilson Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Válter Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valério Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jaime Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tradicão Do Morro's Jaime Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Secco in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Tradicão Do Morro's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Secco came free, but Jaime Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeferson Secco was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Vânderson Sampaio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valério Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jaime Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilson Ferraz during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gilson Ferraz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Juninho Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter Quintal having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Dieguinho Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 played minutes Colheres got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro de Sena. Valério Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Valério Santos came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Colheres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valério Santos couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Valério Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Souza. Tradicão Do Morro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valério Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Jeferson Secco took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Jaime Souza to make any attempt to save it. Colheres's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
