Kiko Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerson Negri in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, NhUb's goal looked a bit too open when Gerson Negri came free, but Kiko Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 13 minutes, Gerson Negri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neto and the NhUb players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Neto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerson Negri to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Lauro Hames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Elivélton Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nelsinho Arósio fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neto's protests and gave Nelsinho Arósio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Neto getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nelsinho Arósio hit a great ball. Yuri da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Toledo having to interfere. Alexsandro Toledo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by NhUb's Yuri da Costa. But to his dismay, Yuri da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Elivélton Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexsandro Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Correia in the 36th minute of the match. Aníbal Paraíba hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Correia in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexsandro Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Neto's zone, Elivélton Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexsandro Toledo came out of the goal and Elivélton Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st match minute, Neto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. NhUb's Kiko Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Hames in the 47th minute of play. After the first half NhUb were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerson Negri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Conrado Correia from a close distance when the talented Alexsandro Toledo managed to make a qualified save. Neto's players were relieved. In the 54th minute, Neto's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Conrado Correia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Conrado Correias short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Alexsandro Toledo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alexsandro Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri da Costa in the 58th minute of the match. Neto's Alexsandro Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Neto from getting a goal against them. Conrado Correia struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Alexsandro Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NhUb. The supporters of NhUb booed when Neto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Neto's Alexsandro Toledo got control of the ball when Conrado Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elivélton Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Neto fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! 79 minutes into the match, Neto's goalkeeper Alexsandro Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elivélton Soares. Kiko Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Antônio Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Yuri da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexsandro Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Correia in the 87th minute of play. With 90 minutes on the clock, Wanderson Britto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 89th minute, one of NhUb:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for NhUb. Neto succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though NhUb had controlled the match.
