Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cido Veloso made the kick off and thus started the match. Itaja's Álvaro Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Gomes in the 3rd minute of play. Allan Vieira hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute Jarbas de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cido Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cido Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. 2-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Diego de Almeida elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Toledos AD booed when Itaja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Manfredo Alagoano took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Bernardo Alves to make any attempt to save it. Reynaldo Gomes hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Adriano Quirino, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bebeto Torres hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Itaja's Diego de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toledos AD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cido Veloso 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Itaja got a freekick which was hit by Diego de Almeida. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego de Almeida in the 56th minute of play forced Toledos AD's goalkeeper Bernardo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarbas de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernardo Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego de Almeida in the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cido Veloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Alves was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Bernardo Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Bernardo Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Veloso in the 66th minute of play. Toledos AD's Jarbas de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cido Veloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Cido Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85thth minute of the game Cido Veloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toledos AD's Bernardo Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardo Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cido Veloso in the 87th minute of the match. Álvaro Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Jarbas de Souza sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 90 minutes, Jarbas de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toledos AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarbas de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jarbas de Souza took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álvaro Guimarães. Álvaro Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Itaja walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
