The crowd rose to their feet as Canario EC's Gilberto Santos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cauan Pitta. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Cauan Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Guedes in the 20th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Cauan Pitta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Barranca SS's Cauan Pitta got control of the ball when Dorival Guedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Canario EC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Lucas came free, but Silas Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Santos in the 31st minute of play forced Barranca SS's goalkeeper Cauan Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canario EC's Silas Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Lucas in the 33rd minute of play. Vítor de Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Silas Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antônio Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Dorival Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Cauan Pitta made a huge save. After 40 played minutes Canario EC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Valadares.

After a rather tough play, Barranca SS's Ronaldinho Fonseca got a free kick in the 55th minute. Cauan Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Vítor de Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Silas Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luiz Guilherme Valadares fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canario EC's protests and gave Luiz Guilherme Valadares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Luiz Guilherme Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Lucass short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Silas Nogueira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Barranca SS's Cauan Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Santana in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Barranca SS's Vítor de Godoy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silas Nogueira. Silas Nogueira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Cauan Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor de Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Nogueira having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Canario EC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Valadares. After 89 played minutes Canario EC got a freekick which was hit by Silas Lopez. Canario EC's Silas Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Lucas in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the Canario EC defense, Haroldo Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silas Nogueira. The Canario EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silas Nogueira should have stopped the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
