Gabriel Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Régis Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Catarinense's late challenge caught a Par de Ases's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Catarinense helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Altidao's Lino Catarinense got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Altidao's zone, Régis Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Paulo Porto came out of the goal and Régis Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Par de Ases's Cléberson Cosme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Paulo Porto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lino Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Mendes having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Vivaldo Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Donatello Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altidao's Zé Paulo Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Altidao from getting a goal against them. Zé Paulo Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Peres in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donatello Britto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Donatello Britto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Mendes. That made the score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Régis Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Zé Paulo Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donatello Britto's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Gilvan Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Altidao's Donatello Britto in the 76th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gabriel Mendes was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Par de Ases through an amazing save. If Vivaldo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Par de Ases's Gabriel Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Catarinense in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Altidao booed when Par de Ases was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vivaldo Marquez struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Gabriel Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altidao. Cléberson Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th play minute Vivaldo Marquez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gabriel Mendes. 0-3. With a little luck, Par de Ases's Gabriel Mendes got control of the ball when Vivaldo Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Altidao's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
