In the 6th minute Delfim Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naldo Pitta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edvaldo Paes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimir Medeiros during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pedrinhos SS booed when Tateco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Fernandes in the 21st minute of play. Alan Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Pedrinhos SS's goalkeeper Naldo Pitta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Custódio. 28 minutes into the game, Edvaldo Paes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tateco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pedrinhos SS the free kick. Vladimir Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Alan Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Pitta having to interfere. Ulysses Souto took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Naldo Pitta. Naldo Pitta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Alan Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Naldo Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 46th minute of the match Edvaldo Paes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edvaldo Paes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Tateco's Edvaldo Paes got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alan Custódio to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cacá Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adelino de Souza's late challenge caught a Tateco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adelino de Souza helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pedrinhos SS getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Adelino de Souza hit a great ball. If Ulysses Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Tepedino in the 59th minute of play forced Pedrinhos SS's goalkeeper Naldo Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Cacá Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Tateco defense, Giuseppe Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arthur Koehler. The Tateco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arthur Koehler should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Tateco's zone, Delfim Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Koehler came out of the goal and Delfim Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Giuseppe Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Cacá Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Pitta was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 77thth minute of the game Cacá Tepedino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pedrinhos SS's Naldo Pitta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cacá Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Tateco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cacá Tepedino couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Dudu Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulysses Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arthur Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Tateco's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
