In the 5th minute, Júlio Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Christian Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Trancoso in the 27th minute of play. If Nestor Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Inácio Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inácio Tasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The Gama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Baxesx were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breno Andrade to make the kick off. Nestor Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Inácio Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Gama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Zonta to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes Gama got a freekick which was hit by Breno Andrade. Luiz Eduardo Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Inácio Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Felipe Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magno Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magno Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Inácio Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Nóbrega in the 75th minute. Gama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Luiz Eduardo Travassos scored to the left of an out of position Inácio Tasso, making the score, 1-3. Luiz Eduardo Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Nestor Nóbrega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baxesx fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Jaime Mandrak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Inácio Tasso came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaime Mandrak slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 89th minute. Gama's Inácio Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Travassos in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Gama got a freekick which was hit by Rony Mota. When the final whistle sounded Baxesx left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gama.
